2014 Asia Pacific OTT summit

On Nov.11,the CEO Zhang Weidong of GHIC in the 2014 Asia Pacific OTT summit said the“ big-screen game”is being formed after end move game,web game,mobile games  the new "Blue Ocean."
 
According to Zhang,since 2006,TV game consoles have become the three pillars(Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo).At present,the global TV game console market stability, the end move game show a downward trend,massively multiplayer online(MMO)game market showed a substantial increase of the trend.
 
In recent years, due to the global popularity of Android smartphones and Android tablets,led to the new round of Android game micro-host (micro-console), Android TV game box, and a wave of Android gaming peripherals.
 
Data show that TV game will have the breaking point in 2015
 
Zhang said that from the beginning of 2013,as the first year of the emergence of OTT box,through the developed steadily,the market of OTT is poised for potentially explosive growth in 2015,with video-based, supplemented by game mode, it has been the penetration and expansion of the market to develop and strengthen the important groundwork done. Recently, many manufacturers of the new video game consoles (such as hosting, Android) launched the pace is getting closer, ready to come out.
 
The next five years TV game will become the first growth point at Chinese game.
China has more than 400 million households,the permeability of the game box is very low.China’s smart TV users should break through the 75 million in 2014,By 2015 will reach one billion ,2016 will show explosive growth,  will be up 150 million.
 
TV game has a strong user base,the current IPTV set-top boxes, OTT box has covered more than 50 million households,but also in rapid development.In these set-top boxes, video and games are standard.Although limited to the matching of the entire industry is not high,these games are both content creation, or operating experience, have a larger room for improvement, but its growth is very fast, very great imagination.
 
In China,the 2014 as a TV game to start the first year,just in the Internet video,smart TV ect.promote mutual fusion and the development history,the video game entertainment mode naturally became the inevitable pattern of domestic home entertainment development. On the whole,the Chinese family entertainment to OTT video games, should be the trend of the times.

Zhang believes that the effects on the final gaming experience on TV has a few links include: TV, game consoles, handle boby feeling periphral and virtual reality equipment, game content,ect.From the point of view of the actual situation, game consoles and game content, has become more obvious short-board stage and most noteworthy content, which requires the chain to keep up as soon as possible, around the user to do more effective work.
 
The users to play games,they hope to get a comfortable experience and enjoy by playing games,or looking for "pleasure" and "stimulus."The pleasure and stimulation, need through a variety of ways, including visual, hearing, touch and mental, emotional, and so on. The spiritual and emotional needs, mainly through the game content and game modes and other ways to achieve; and visual, hearing and touch, more is needed hardware, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment to fully demonstrate and enhancements.
